Dentistry has been a life-long calling for Dr. Azadeh Shabanpour. She received her dental degree from Dalhousie University’s Faculty of Dentistry. The School of Dentistry at Dalhousie in Halifax, Nova Scotia is a venerated institution that’s widely regarded as the best dentistry school in the nation. She practiced dentistry in Halifax before moving back to Toronto where she relocated Dentistry on Wynford to its new home at One Centre Dentistry.
Dr. Shabanpour is a member of Canadian Dental Society and Ontario Dental Associations.
Dr. Shabanpour enjoys general and cosmetic dentistry and has immense dental implant knowledge and training. When not working, she enjoys watching movies, traveling, and spending time with her family.
Dr. Edwin Chau is a specialist in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. He completed his dental training at the Western University, London, Ontario in 2008. He then went onto complete his Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery training at University of Western Ontario and affiliated London Health Sciences Centre in 2014. During his residency training he also obtained his Medical Degree as well as a Masters in Pathology. He stayed on to be a clinical instructor for the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery teaching program at Western University, London, Ontario and adjunct professor to undergraduate dental students at Western University, London, Ontario from 2014-2015.
Dr. Chau is a Fellow of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada and a member of the Canadian Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, Canadian Dental Society and Ontario Dental Society.
On his spare time he enjoys golfing, travelling and tasting new culinary experiences.
Dr. Paculanan graduated from Centro Escolar University, School of Dentistry in Manila, Philippines with the degree of Doctor of Dental Medicine in 1988. He practiced general dentistry in Manila before immigrating to Canada in 1996.
After working as a dental technician for several years in Toronto, Dr. Paculanan returned to school to complete a Master’s Certificate in Advanced Prosthodontics from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor in 2008. Dr. Paculanan taught as a clinical lecturer at University of Michigan, School of Dentistry.
Dr. Paculanan was also faculty in the Department of Prosthodontics at University of Toronto, Faculty of Dentistry, He was course director of the 3rd year undergrad Prosthodontic Course and Director of IDAPP(International Dentist Advance Placement Program) Prosthodontics. Dr. Paculanan has taken a break from teaching and is currently busy with private practice.
A veteran of our practice for over two decades, Nimet takes pride in the close relationships she has forged throughout the years with dental patients. Dental education and advising patients on good oral health practices are two of her specialties.
Katrina has a long-standing passion for the field of dental hygiene. She received her dental hygiene diploma in 2008 and has been practicing as a dental hygienist since. She continued to pursue her dental hygiene education and received a bachelor’s degree in dental sciences from University of British in 2016. In addition to practicing dental hygiene at One Centre Dentistry, Katrina also teaches clinical and didactic course in the dental hygiene program in Toronto. Katrina always makes sure to stay current in the field by taking continuing education courses regularly. She takes great pride in the treatment she provides and always makes sure that patients’ oral health needs are met. In her free time, Katrina enjoys spending time with her husband and their 3 children.

Bre is our front desk receptionist. Bre has been serving the dental community for over 10 years now and loves to help our patients meets their oral health goals and have a smile they absolutely love! Her personable mannerisms and friendly demeaner help create a welcoming environment for all Dr. Shabanpour’s patients.
